I’ve been married for 23 years with six children. I have a Bachelor’s degree from MTSU, and a Masters and Ed.S degrees in education from TN Tech. I love to read historical fiction books and travel to new places.

Holly Williams

2nd - 3rd

My name is Holly Williams, and I am excited to be a tutor here at Kingdom Ranch Academy! I graduated from Martin Methodist College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6. I spent four incredible years teaching 4th and 5th grade before I decided to stay at home with my son. When I started staying home, I began teaching English online to students in other countries. I continue to teach online, as well as homeschooling my son (which is my FAVORITE job ever!) I am happily married to my husband of 9 years. Together we have one son and one poodle! I love reading, riding bikes, walking, and playing board games in my free time.

Kimberly Rickman

3rd - 4th

My name is Kim Rickman.  I have five beautiful children: Kathryn Grace (23), Christin Faith (19), Michael (11), Jetty (10), and Jesenia (9). I am married to my college sweetheart, Chris Rickman of (27) years. The “Rickman” house is experiencing BIG changes for this new school year.  Our oldest daughter is getting married and moving to Florida so we are gaining a wonderful son-in-love, our second oldest daughter is attending college at UT Martin, and that leaves the three littles and myself continuing our homeschool  journey. I have been homeschooling for 19 years and prior to that,  I was a teacher in the public school system.

I have always had a love for teaching.  As a young girl, I played school for hours with my dolls and stuffed animals.  The reward that teaching brings melts my heart.  There is no greater JOY than teaching a child to read, grow in their understanding of Jesus, helping them realize what a difference they can make for the kingdom of Christ, and all the wonderful experiences that come from homeschooling.  When I watch a child experience the “light-bulb” moment that makes every opportunity I have to teach children so rewarding.  I look forward to working with your precious children at Kingdom Ranch Academy!

Kimberly Evans

4th - 5th

I am Kimberly Evans.  My husband, Kerry, and I have been married since June 1983. We have four adopted children, three who are married with children of their own. We have eight grand children and one on the way. We met at a bible study and became great friends. Kerry has been an encouragement to me throughout my years of teaching. I retired from full time teaching in 2021. I’m excited to be a part of Kingdom Ranch Academy and give back what I have experienced.

Tina Cockerill

Junior High

I am a teacher by profession and a homeschool parent by choice. My BA is in Elementary Ed with a concentration in French and my MEd is in School Counseling. I have taught the full spectrum of grades and subjects in public, private and homeschool
for the last 25 years.

It brings me joy to see students excited about learning new things and then using what they have learned in real-life settings. My favorite topics to teach are the Bible, classic literature, French and homesteading. I hope that my students especially take to heart
that they are made in the image of God and He sees them as someone special.

Our class verse is 1 Timothy 4:12 "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

Stephanie Bell

High School

I am a thirteen year veteran homeschooling mom of 5. I am a lifelong learner with a particular interest in history, literature, and Latin. Seeing the Father in ALL aspects of His creation is a delight: "For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together." Colossians 1:16-17

Charlotte Brandhorst

High School

Hi!  I am Charlotte Brandhorst. I am the mother of 5 children. Four out of the 5 have graduated from Homeschool.  I am now homeschooling my youngest.

My husband Joel and I have been married for 36 years.  We are both originally from Texas, where we started our Homeschool Journey.  While living there I taught at a Homeschool Enrichment program in Euless,Texas. Then when we moved to Middle Tennessee I joined with several other moms and we started a Co-op style program in Shelbyville. A year after that program was started my family moved to Brazil as Missionaries. It was during that season of our life that our 3 oldest daughters attended an international school while our son attended a Brazilian school. As soon as I finished my language learning program, we brought them all home to homeschool again.

When I started homeschooling my children, I wanted them to have a good education and develop a love for God and grow in their relationship with the Lord.  Now as I am coming to the 23rd year of my Homeschooling journey, I can say that my perspective has not changed much.  I am excited to teach about our world from a Christian perspective.

Adam Thomas

High School

I enjoy teaching due to how one person can make a difference. I believe education is important and I believe it needs to be presented from a Christian perspective.

Jennifer Maddox

Art Tutor

My name is Jennifer Maddox. I am a “boy-mom” to three wonderful sons; Buster (18), River (14) and Stone (10). I am married to the love of my life Eric Maddox of (28) years; and we live in Bell Buckle, TN on our family farm - where we have been the last 8 years.

Aside from the love and joy that my family and our farm brings me; my other passion is art.

Since I was a little girl art has always been something I have enjoyed. I was lucky enough to have an art teacher in middle to upper high school that took me under her wing. She helped guide/push me to believe that I was capable of doing more with my art. She helped me to see things about art differently. I had no idea I could love art more, until then. Now working with children, teaching art; I understand why she invested in me and her other students. It's a completely different side of fulfillment art can give me as well – by helping others see the same things I saw. I truly hope to ignite a passion and love for art for the children of Kingdom Ranch Academy.
