About Us

How KRA Began

It started with a simple prayer and a bold conviction: that homeschooling families deserve a vibrant, supportive community — where children don’t just learn, but flourish in every area of life. In 2023, two homeschooling parents in Bedford County sensed a calling to create an enrichment program rooted in faith, collaboration, and exploration. From a humble beginning, Kingdom Ranch Academy was born.

Our Vision

To cultivate a learning environment where fresh soil nourishes the next generation. We envision a hybrid of classroom and outdoor discovery, where credentialed teachers and engaged families partner together. We aim to become a ranch-style resource center: indoor and outdoor learning spaces, gardens, nature trails, service projects, and more — where students apply knowledge, deepen character, and understand who God created them to be.

We are committed to a whole-child approach: nurturing minds, hearts, and hands. We build community. We ignite curiosity. We foster lifelong learners.

We believe education is more than academics — it’s cultivating hearts, minds, and hands to glorify God.

Statement of Faith

The Bible Is God’s Word

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God in the original text and the only rule of faith and practice

II Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work".

Creation & The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That in the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth and breaths life into every living being.

Psalm 121-1-2 says, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Matthew 28:19 says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

God Sent His Son Jesus

We believe in the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His visible return in power and glory.

1 John 4:7 - 12 says, "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us".

Sin

We believe that all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That salvation is received by the grace of God through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Titus 3:3-7 says, "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life".

Holy Spirit

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Romans 8:9-11 says, "You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you".

A Unified Church

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit as established in the Bible.

John 17:20-26 says, “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
